hello, I hope that someone can help me.
I have uploaded a sheet with 176 rows and 10 columns of data. Once uploaded, the sheet is painfully slow...i click on a cell it it can take up to 3 mins to insert the cursor to edit the cell. The spreadsheet contains no formulas (only data - a glorified table really) and the spreadsheet is only 50k in size once saved. I also have a very fast internet line so that isnt the problem.
Can anyone help?
My login is MBCMWedding, although the spreadsheet is marked as private.

Hey guys --
I completely sympathize with the slowness factor.
I'm this close from trying to look elsewhere for an online spreadsheet... Except, I think there is none out there that will work both on Macs and on Windows.

For now, we limp along. I am in charge of organizing an online reference database (not too huge, maybe ony 50 x 10 cells) for regular update. Essentially, it is a task list for my co-op. We are too poor to be able to afford a fancy website of our own to incorporate a spreadsheet into.
Additionally, NumSum gives the easy option of allowing non-logged in people to simply visit a website and see the spreadsheet. So crucial.

At present I'm simply updating fields, and having it take about 20 seconds to, say, bold text a word.
And for a long time, the cell width capability (dragging the top of the cell right to enlarge, at the letter ref. row at the top ofthe page) did not work. That works, but not, apparently, the cell height function.
Sigh.
I just hope they dont' get bought by Google and lose all their Mac capability, or ability to correlate to an easy URL.
cheers -
Mike
